VALUE DELIVERED
Viox created a solution that allows for minimized corrective maintenance and lowered costs by implementing a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance (PM) program, and initiating continuous improvement processes like monthly steering team meetings and routine data analysis.
Through the utilization of an on-site staff of cross-trained associates —as opposed to specialty contractors — the Viox approach offers the ability to derive savings from self-performance. This approach also improves critical response time in emergency situations and reduces the need for management time and subcontractor supervision.
LaRosa’s can measure value delivered through improved service quality and the overall performance of each store’s operations, which further supports productivity and the bottom line.
CLIENT OBJECTIVES
Initially, LaRosa’s faced issues with their facility management approach which ranged from limited cost tracking, little accountability of mechanics and the lack of a proven quality control program. They used a decentralized approach to facility management — across 19 corporate locations — and needed a strategic plan for delivering quality service along with cost savings.
EMCOR SOLUTIONS
Viox implemented a proven Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) model to enable cost savings, quality assurance and a centralized approach to maintaining/improving their restaurants/corporate facilities.
As mentioned above, Viox changed the specialty subcontractor approach and brought maintenance staffing to the contract with a team of technicians who are deployed through maintenance call center dispatching.
Technology and process solutions in the form of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and reliable program management — supported by a proven Preventative Maintenance (PM) process — strengthen the service offering and measure performance.
In addition, a centralized purchasing process for maintenance needs was put in place and allows for strategic, leveraged purchasing on this account.
