Viox and First Financial team up to support SmartMoney Community Services
Viox Services and First Financial Bank recently co-hosted more than 100 local executives at a special business leaders' breakfast. The event was aimed at increasing support for SmartMoney Community Services, a leading provider of comprehensive affordable financial services and economic education.
“We believe in the vision and goals of SmartMoney Community Services in improving the lives of local residents,” said Greg Tankersley, vice president, sales and marketing, for Viox Services. “We are proud to help spread the word about a program that can have such a direct impact on the local workforce and economy.”
Viox co-sponsored the event because we believe financial literacy is important to the economy. By learning how to more effectively manage budgets, understand balance sheets, and identify financial risks and opportunities, consumers can improve their decisionmaking skills and make sounder choices. That, in turn, will make them better employees as well as better customers for local businesses. Collectively, the result will be stronger, more stable neighborhoods with thriving nearby businesses.
