Seton High School CINCINNATI, OH
An integrated facilities management program developed and implemented by experts; a significant reduction in costly repairs; a computerized monitoring and measuring system that enables smarter management decision making; a more economical purchasing process; professionally managed continuous improvement initiatives; more efficient overall facilities operation; improved comfort and productivity; greater ability to focus on educational programs and student needs.
Seton High School administrators were looking for an integrated facilities services solution with measurable results that would reduce costs without sacrificing the level of service. They wanted to focus their efforts on core education instead of performing the facilities maintenance of the school campus.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
A leader in delivering custom-tailored facilities management solutions, Viox provides an end-to-end facilities maintenance program that effectively meets Seton’s needs. Since reactive maintenance is typically 35 percent more costly than preventive maintenance (PM), the Viox solution includes a PM program focused on maintenance and custodial services for all critical equipment. This significantly reduces maintenance expenditures. To support the PM program, Viox implemented a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Using key performance indicators, it measures performance and provides quality assessment reports that enable more effective management.
Viox also centralized the purchasing process around key vendor alliances. These processes and procedures together maximize the client’s facilities asset management, decrease costly repairs, and give the client more time to focus on managing its organization.
By providing regular quality assessment reports, the CMMS tells Viox and client management what areas to highlight for continuous improvement, ensuring that these improvement efforts will result in consistently maximum value.
Sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati, Seton High School offers a comprehensive college-prep curriculum with classes to fit any kind of learner. From the beginning, Seton has been fully accredited by the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges and is an active member of the National Catholic Education Association.
